Internet 2.0

Google seems to be going there ... and fast.
While messing about "configuring" my google homepage and checking my gmail, I noticed that there were a few more things available.

So a word processor which is available from any browser .. and then a spreadsheet no less.
I had a wee play, and then I uploaded a couple of reasonably strenuous examples of each.
... and they both seemed to be OK & worked as far as I needed to extract information on the go.
So, although the local version of the spreadsheet (MS or OpenOffice) is quicker to navigate, the ability to have the whole thing available *anywhere* is quite phenomenonal!
