Golden Spring  

Living in new surroundings can create the nicest of surprises.
We have a large Pohutukawa tree at the back of the house, and have been waiting for it to burst into bloom. The trees in the city are a week or two ahead of those in Miramar, so we have been getting somewhat impatient.
Then getting out into the sunshine on the weekend, there over the top of the house is another tree which we do not usually see, in full bloom ... but not crimson!
