Graphic editors have been a pain for years!
I used to only use Photoshop/Illustrator/Corel-Draw ... whatever rarely, and so did not bother to learn all the arcane techniques required to get something done. Even if I did, the odds were that the next time I used it, the "new improved" version would have a different way of doing it anyway!
So now I seem to be regularly (and poorly) using The Gimp & Inkscape, and still I find it impossible to do something *really* simple like edit a photo (or screenshot) by adding an arrow or other indication of a point of interest.
There seems to be no *simple* ways of doing this!
The Gimp doesn't appear to have an "arrow Line tool" (ala windows drawing programmes) and when I do stuff in Inkscape .. I seem to loose the "background" picture.
IT SHOULDN'T BE THIS HARD ANYMORE!
