Summer Concerts

We went to a couple of the summer concerts at the Botanical Gardens, and despite the weather they were pretty enjoyable. But isn't the soundshell is a hopelessly inadequate venue! Tonight we arrived at least an hour early for the Little Bushmen's Concert, and it was packed. We then spent most of the evening trying not to slide off a steep slope, without a view of the stage.
On reflection, I can't think of any decent sized outside venue in Wellington, pity really, even most provincial towns have a place they can stack thousands if they have to, but not Wellington.

Nevertheless, I still think its grand to be able to go to whole string of free concerts with great music. (Apparently the Ukelele band were primo.)

1 Comments:

I love the blog that you have. I was wondering if you would link my blog to yours and in return I would do the same for your blog. If you want to, my site name is American Legends and the URL is:

www.americanlegends.blogspot.com

If you want to do this just go to my blog and in one of the comments just write your blog name and the URL and I will add it to my site.

Thanks,
David
